Desirée de Rabbitt

Desirée de Rabbitt  is, as you may have noted on our home page, the Quality Management Executive of Rabbitt in Paradise, LLC.

Surprised?

Don't be.

We find that Desi expemplifies all of the fine qualities of the sign ofthe rabbit - elegance, an appreciation of beauty, fine aesthetic taste,

with a sophisicated sense of humor and an ease of social adeptness.  In our experience, these are qualities almost all rabbits share.

So, we find her assistance invaluable. 

Unfortunately, not much is known of her early life.

Desirée was born on February 22, 2006 and subsequently brought to the Hawaii Humane Society for adoption by unknown persons.  We do know

that she was not handled a great deal, and was not highly socialized.

She came to the family of C.J. Rabbitt on June 16, 2007;  the volunteer at the humane society noted that Desi had been at the shelter for a

long time;  she probably did not have much time left before she would be euthanized. 

We were glad to give Desi a new home and to accustom her to life with humans;  she has adapted very well and has become a treasured and

valued member of the family.  She has toys and games to play with, she has her own little home to snuggle in, and she has a beautiful view

of the Pacific Ocean from our balcony.   She is impeccably neat and clean, spends hours grooming herself, and eats (in addition to her supply of

Timothy hay which is always available to her) salads of dark leafy greens with the family at mealtime.
